What Happens When You Lose Your Soul Connection

soul connection

The Crown Jewels

The Internal Void

Greed and desire are born from our loss of our soul connection and the void that loss creates within our psyche. When we lose our soul connection, we lose our ability to be a source of unconditional love. When we lose the ability to be a channel of unconditional love, we no longer know who we are. Greed and desire then become our response to the pain of losing our soul connection.

If we don’t find the one clear voice of our soul connection and true self, we will find ourselves swamped by the many disingenuous voices of our false selves. All these voices clamor for our attention, each one greedily demanding that we give it what it wants. Each voice claims to be our one true voice, the voice of our soul connection and tells us that if we get it what it wants, it will provide the answer to our unhappiness. However, the manifestation of each desire soon becomes another false hope. Since we don’t know how to reclaim our ability to love unconditionally, we cling instead to greed and desire. We will cling to greed and desire until we integrate the physical and supra-physical aspects of our system and regain our soul connection.

Toxicity and Desire

The strength of our desire nature is determined by the degree of toxic emotion in our system. Toxic emotions create internal distance from our real self and deprive us of our soul connection. Once that internal distance exists, most of us will attempt to close it by using desire rather than unconditional love in seeking fulfillment. Of course, this strategy creates the opposite result of what we intended. Instead of leading to fulfillment and soul connection, desire creates more internal distance between who we really are and what we have become.

Desire does not shorten our way home, but will instead, add many unnecessary detours to our journey. While the pursuit of what we desire will not cure our emptiness, it does add to our desperation.

Alienation and Spirituality

Divided Against Ourselves

Alienation occurs when the physical and supra-physical aspects of our system are separated from each other and prevented from working together. Fear, greed, and desire keep the two major aspects of our system not only separate and divided, but also in conflict with each other as well. The more we permit the three forces of alienation to run rampant in our psyches, the more difficult it will be to find our true identity. When we are divided internally, it is easy to be in conflict and extremely difficult to be at peace.

Our world is a product of our internal alienation. Through that alienation we have created a world rife with conflict of all sorts and on all levels. It is a world that has too much violence and too little peace. If we can’t find peace within ourselves, how can we expect the world to provide that peace for us? The world is not responsible for our well-being. Quite to the contrary, we are collectively responsible for the world’s well-being. Unfortunately, because of the pervasive problem of alienation from the spirit and soul that plagues humanity, as well as the selfishness that alienation habitually breeds, we typically fail to consider the ramifications of our behavior on the world in which we live until it is too late.

A Peaceful Nature

A peaceful nature has always been the foundation of higher consciousness. As long as we are alienated from ourselves we cannot be at peace, and we will find it impossible to complete ourselves, move forward into the light, and elevate our lives. When we are only aware of part of ourselves, we cannot know who we really are. The problem of alienation is not only universal but is also the source of the silent epidemic of imbalance now plaguing the world. When we are alienated from ourselves, our spirit and our soul are absent from our lives. Without their influence, we can neither be in balance nor in tune with a reality larger than our own selfish interests. If we are not in touch with a larger reality, we will lack a cohesive and integrative vision to guide our lives, and with- out that vision we will be unable to find our purpose. Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, and the Dalai Lama, for instance, all had a coherent vision with a common theme. That common theme was serving the greater good of their people. Those visions were unselfish and motivated by unconditional love.

When the spirit is active in our lives, we can find common ground and resolve our differences. However, when the spirit is absent from our lives, those same differences quickly become insurmountable. In the aggregate, the three forces of alienation promote the increasing escalation of conflict and polarization throughout the world. They affect the individual by keeping him stirred up and focused on ambitions that do not serve his higher nature or allow him to fulfill himself but that lead him, instead, farther from inner peace and personal fulfillment. In the words of Christ, “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul?”

Healing the Soul: The Real Art of Letting Go

Some years before the Los Angeles training, I gave a seminar in Virginia on Soul Healing. Among the people in attendance that afternoon was a woman sitting near the front of the room who seemed very uncomfortable in her own skin. As I looked more closely at her from a clairvoyant perspective, I saw that the traumatic events of her last lifetime were visible in her aura. She had died horribly in the Holocaust, burned to death in the furnaces of a concentration camp. This woman was in great need of soul healing.

I began the Soul Healing seminar and talked for a while, but my attention kept being drawn to her. I could see that her unconscious toxicity was ready to “pop” and that her inner being had led her to my soul healing seminar so that she could clear those buried events from her system. I could further see that the manner of her death in her last lifetime had cast a long shadow of fear and terror over her present life and that she knew none of this consciously. Finally, I couldn’t bear her pain anymore. I felt that part of my assignment that day was to free her from her unconscious toxicity through soul healing. So I did the only thing I could think to do. I asked her if she would come up front and lie down on the healing table next to me so I could demonstrate how the soul healing process worked.

She looked all around her, terrified of being singled out and separated from her friends. “Why me?” she asked.
“Because you’re ready for soul healing, and I think you’ll be a very good subject.”

“I don’t feel ready.”

“That’s to be expected. People who are ready are in touch with their fear. Your high level of anxiety just means you’re really ready for soul healing.”

“Well, I’m not so sure of that.”

“I understand. Nobody is ever very sure of anything when they are really ready to let go and undergo soul healing. It sort of feels like the rug is being pulled out from under you and everything in your life is suddenly being turned upside down. But all we’re going to do here is find what you’re ready to let go of and then discharge it. So if you can be a bit brave and take a risk, everything will be fine.”

“But…”

“I’ll tell you what. If you feel very uncomfortable at any point in the soul healing process, we’ll stop.”

“Really?”

“Really.”

Having a way out convinced her to give soul healing a try. She came up and hesitantly got on the table. I put one hand under the base of her spine, and my other hand under the base of her skull. The energy immediately started flowing out of me into her central nervous system. As I watched the energy flow into her, it surrounded her body with bands of green, blue, gold, and white energy. I could see that the audience was feeling the energy as well. Their restlessness faded away. They became quiet, peaceful, and alert. Within two to three minutes I could tell that Karen was very relaxed. Her eyes closed; her breathing became slow and even. I now moved my hands to her abdomen and her left side where the toxic energy of that terrible death was stored. As I shifted my hands, the soul healing energy flowing from my hands also shifted. It was now a bright, fiery red. Within seconds of the energy shifting, Karen opened her eyes and stared at me in shock.

“It’s Okay,” I said softly, so only she could hear. “Some old stuff from your last life is ready to pop. This is what happens in soul healing. Just make a little sound and it will come pouring out of you.”

“What stuff?” she asked, terrified. I had no chance to respond. With those two words her repressed material came flooding out. She started to cry. Her body shook. She waved her arms and legs frantically, wailed and screamed. After twenty minutes of intense release, her physical movements stopped. Her body became quiet as her system filled with peace. As she shifted from one state of consciousness to another, from a state of cathartic healing to a state of deep peace, the energy going into her changed once more from bright red to pink, lavender, and gold.

I looked out at the audience. The faces in front of me registered fear and terror. “I bet you’re all afraid of getting on the table now.”

They all nodded nervously.

“Soul healing looks pretty dangerous and painful, huh?”

They all nodded again. By this time Karen was back from her experience and had opened her eyes. “Karen, could you tell the people in the audience how you feel?”

“I feel really great. I have never felt as light and peaceful as I feel now.”

“Was it scary and painful to go through that soul healing release?”

“Not at all. I thought it would be, but it wasn’t. Instead, all I could feel was a great sense of relief. I know it probably didn’t look like that, but that is how it felt. It was funny too because once it started happening, I didn’t have any control over it. It just sort of gushed out of me.”

“Did you see any visions or have any insights during the soul healing experience?”

“I just felt like I was being burned alive.”

“Were you afraid?”

“I experienced a brief moment of absolute terror in the beginning, just before that feeling surfaced, but once the feeling of being burned alive surfaced, the sense of terror faded away.”

“Are you still afraid?”

“No. That’s what’s amazing. The fear is completely gone. I feel much lighter than I ever have. What did you see that made you call me up here?”

“I saw that you had been burned to death in your last lifetime, as you correctly felt you had. It was during the Holocaust, and you were incinerated in a concentration camp. That experience was very close to the surface of your being and was ready to be cleared. That’s why I wanted you up here for soul healing. Frankly, it was driving me a bit crazy, and I knew I had to clear it for you before we could go on with the soul healing seminar. I believe you were here today to clear it. How do you react when you see World War Two movies or read about the Holocaust?”

“I’ve never been able to watch anything to do with World War Two or even think about the Holocaust. The thought of it has always tied me up in fear and made me nauseous. Now I know why.”

“It’s always helpful to connect the dots and know why. It’s even better to be free of what has held you back.”

Every time we clear a toxic event from our psyche trough soul healing, we wrest more control and territory away from the negative ego. Each time we clear a toxic event, we expand our light, deepen our inner peace, bring our soul and conscious mind closer to each other, and lead our whole system closer to integration. Facing what we fear and going through some discomfort during the soul healing process is a small price to pay for the freedom to evolve without internal resistance and the joy of becoming the person we were always meant to be.

The Power of Choice

Revelation and Redemption

It takes a very bright and powerful light to penetrate deeply enough into our system to reveal these lost, long forgotten, and troubled fragments of our experience. These pieces must be revealed before they can be redeemed. The revelation of our hidden toxicity requires the descent of a higher spiritual light into the depths of our subconscious. That light will reveal what has long been hidden.

The redemption of our hidden wounds requires the ascent of these toxic emotions into the light of consciousness, where they can be faced, felt, and cleared. Only then is the past redeemed and our system cleared of its encumbrances. If we do not heal our wounds, they will continue bleeding, robbing us of our power to be whole. Our wounds block our evolution. They place shadows of fear across our minds. They are the unseen chains that bind us to old agonies and prevent us from moving forward into a better and more fulfilling life. The most powerful and direct way to access these wounds is to focus the higher light of the spirit on the subconscious with laser-like precision and drive these experiences from the darkness in which they reside.

The Power of Choice

Everything that we have not yet worked out of our system must be worked out eventually, either in this life or a future one. The longer we delay that task, the more we prolong our unhappiness. The only power we have over our buried toxicity is the power of choosing when to face it. The sooner we choose to face our unresolved trauma, the easier it is to resolve the emotional blocks that hold us back. When toxic energy is close to the surface, it is easy to find and bring to our conscious mind. But if we postpone our confrontation with the toxic events that are lodged in our system, we unwittingly provide those events with the opportunity to burrow even more deeply into our body. If we don’t seize the opportunity to clear toxic material from our system as soon as we can, that toxicity will seize its opportunity to run as far as it can from our conscious mind. Our toxicity seeks to conceal what we need to reveal in order to regain our balance and accelerate our evolution. By hiding what should be exposed the negative ego maintains its control over our psyche.

If our toxicity remains concealed, our personal power will remain bound up with what has wounded us, and continues to wound us still. When our wounds control us, we have little power. We become more powerless and unhappy with each new wound. Because we lack access to our real power, the focus of our future won’t be found in fulfilling our destiny, but rather in repeating our drudgery. The legacy of failing to act is a lifetime of failure.

Bill Gates, Monsanto and the GM debacle

GMO Investor

Gates Monsanto Investment in GMO Seeds

Bill Gates recently invested approximately twenty seven million dollars in Monsanto stock. Gates feels GMO seeds and crops are the only way to feed the world’s burgeoning population. He wants to see GMO seeds and crops planted throughout Africa, where Monsanto is making a big push. GMO crops are already grown on wildlife and nature refuges in the U.S.

GMO Crops and Sterility

Gates is no fool. I’m sure he’s studied the research and knows that in mice fed GMO crops infant mortality rose hugely in the second generation. By the third generation the males’ testicles had shrunk and they had become sterile. If you want to control the world population feed them GMO foods. If the experimental findings with mice translate to the human population, in the second generation many babies will be stillborn. By the third generation most males will be infertile. GMO foods will reduce the world’s population significantly. Here we have another case of double speak by the PTB. Instead of feeding and sustaining the world’s population GMO foods will reduce the population. By forcing farmers to grow GM foods and consumers to eat GMO foods the PTB will control the world’s food supply and reap huge profits while reducing the world’s population. A perfect double play for the PTB.

GMO and agent orange

Agent Orange

Agent Orange and GM crops

In more GM news, Agent Orange is making a comeback. Originally used in the Vietnam War to defoliate the countryside it also poisoned countless American soldiers and Vietnamese citizens. Now Dow Agroscience has applied to the Dept of Agriculture to spray Agent Orange on GMO corn. Now you will have the opportunity to eat a toxic food topped off with highly toxic pesticide. Lovely!!

Government and Corporate Collusion

Meanwhile the carousel of Monsanto officials inhabiting important government positions keeps on spinning as it has for many years. If you’ve ever doubted government and corporation collusion google Monsanto officials in government. Unless I’m mistaken, that kind of collusion between powerful corporations and government is known as fascism. Monsanto is a prime example of how a corporation uses the federal government to further its goals and policies, in this case the proliferation of GMO crops. Those GMO policies benefit Monsanto, not the citizens of the United States whom the federal government is sworn to protect. Monsanto will grow richer and more powerful in its quest to control the world’s food supply. Americans and everyone else will grow sicker.

The Angel of Death

Angel of Death

The Angel of Death Appears

The angel of death is a theme in all religions and cultures. I recently returned from Austin  where I met with an old friend and brilliant doctor of oriental medicine, Dr. Alan Berman. Over  a very long lunch Dr Alan shared a story about the angel of death with me that is sure to captivate you. A client of his, a young mother, had a father who was dying. One day, she visited him and brought her seven year old son with her. Her father seemed to be failing fast. On the way home from their visit, her son, who was sitting in the backseat, had a conversation with an invisible friend.

“Who are you talking to?” asked the mother.

The young boy gave the name of the person he was talking with as if it were completely normal to talk with someone who wasn’t there.

“What’s he like?” said the mother, not wanting to inhibit her son.

“He’s twelve,” answered her son. ” And he has red hair.”

“What’s he talking about?” inquired the mother.

“He’s telling me about Grandpa,” said her son. “He said I shouldn’t be sad.”

“Oh,” said his mother, forcing back her tears.

The woman’s father died shortly thereafter. After the funeral, the woman spoke with her Rabbi. During their conversation she told him about her son’s imaginary conversation. The Rabbi seemed unnerved by what she said and looked strangely at her.

“Is everything alright?” asked the woman.

“I don’t know. In the Jewish tradition the angel of death is thought to be a boy of twelve or thirteen with red hair,” said the Rabbi. “The name of your son’s invisible friend is the name of the angel of death from the old stories. Until now, I always thought the story of the angel of death was just a myth. Now, I must rethink my conclusion. There is more here than meets the eye.”

The Other World

There’s another world around us that we don’t see. The angel of death lives in that world. That world is alive and full of strange comings and goings. It isn’t physical, but energetic. We are, in fact, energy beings encased in the flesh. Our body weighs us down and makes us less perceptive than our energetic potential suggests. The other world is full of energy beings, or souls like the angel of death, who are not entombed in physical bodies but are free (for now) of the limitations of the flesh. They come and go as they please.

The Perils of the Advanced Soul

There are rare individuals who can access that world and converse with it, like the young boy spoke with the angel of death. A young child is more open than a teenager or an adult who has been shutdown by the educational system, religion, peer pressure, and the media. People that are open to the unseen world are thought by psychiatrists to have a mental disorder or character flaw. Imagine if they spoke to a court appointed psychiatrist about their experiences with the angel of death. They’d be committed immediately. Their contemporaries think they’re weird. They almost have no chance to lead a normal life, unless they keep their knowledge and abilities to themselves. This subject was beautifully portrayed in the movie Powder. If you haven’t seen it, do so. It’s a powerful statement of the struggles the advanced souls among us have in this world. Humanity, unfortunately, is largely ignorant of its potential and destroys those who have actualized that potential. Humanity as a whole is tragically shutdown. People destroy what they can’t understand. They see what an advanced soul offers as a threat, not a gift. That is the destructive nature of jealousy. The angel of death speaks to a young boy who is still open while the rest of the world experiences a living death and calls it a normal life.

The world is a harsh place full of cold, negative people who have little heart and less insight into the soul of someone more advanced than they are. There are many advanced souls who come to earth to help awaken humanity and are destroyed for their troubles.

The Quest for Self-Actualization

Fortunately, we live in a time when there is a growing quest for self-actualization, but there are many traps and false programs that people fall into along the way. It is easy to get lost and lose hope. There are many false teachers and fake prophets looking to pick you off and pick your pocket. I hope that you are among those at work in that quest and I further hope that the path you are on is bringing you true insight, strength, and compassion.

The Poet Rumi

The famous 14th century Afghan poet Rumi had this to say on the subject of knowing that other world where the angel of death lives. The angel of death does not come to kill, he comes to liberate the soul from the flesh. That is why he is an angel. He is not to feared, but respected. Listen to the words of Rumi.

He who knows not, and knows not that he knows not, is a fool, shun him. He who knows not, and knows that he knows not, is a child, teach him. He who knows, and knows not that he knows, is asleep, wake him. But he who knows, and knows that he knows, is a wise man, follow him.

I wish you a true path and a wise leader.

The Ego and Enlightenment: Part 1 The Negative Ego

Light in the Darkness

Everyone has an ego and a negative ego. Being egoless is an illusion. The real question we face is not how can we become egoless but how can we transform the negative ego we do have into a higher level of integration and Self acceptance.

The Negative Ego and The Shadow

The base ego state we all contend with is the negative ego. The negative ego is the outgrowth of the shadow. The unconscious toxicity that forms the shadow feeds the negative ego, gives it its power in our psyche, and eventually raises it to dominance. The negative ego is a unit of separation. Its mission is to separate our mind from our soul and control our life. The negative ego usurps the power of the soul. It is defensive, secretive, and aggressive. The negative ego is not at all self-reflective. It seeks happiness and the fulfillment of its desires in the material world and derides the notion that happiness is dependent on our inner state,- on the nature of our relationship to our soul. When things go wrong the negative ego never takes responsibility for its actions but blames others for its problems.

Negative Ego and the Victim Mentality

When we chronically blame others for our problems we have embraced the role of victim. The victim is self-righteous and feels entitled to take whatever form of retaliation and revenge he deems appropriate. The combination of poor judgment and unethical behavior makes the negative ego a karma generating machine. The longer we let the negative ego remain unchecked the more karma we will be forced to deal with later. Because the negative ego constantly creates karma it delays our evolution and adds to our unhappiness. This in turn leads to a life that is increasingly out of balance and very distant from who we really are. The ever increasing darkness in our psyche that the negative ego produces allows it to become even stronger. While generating karma is bad business for us, it is good business for the negative ego.

Negative Ego and True Identity

If we remain under the negative ego’s tyranny we will never find our true identity. Real identity is stored in the soul, not in the ego. As long as the union of the negative ego and shadow is in force the union of the mind and soul cannot occur. The negative ego and the shadow are the antagonists to growth while the soul and the spirit are the protagonists of evolution. The path to conscious growth begins when we choose to activate the soul and confront the shadow. This choice is monumental and initiates the long and difficult battle between the light and dark elements of our being. The key to winning this war is to take responsibility for our actions, become more self- reflective, and turn within to face our shadow and the toxicity that feeds it until all toxicity is drained from our unconscious swamp. When we “drain the swamp” the negative ego dies and the ego becomes our ally in the growth process not our opponent.
